1946 Shimao Sakurazawa founded Sakurazawa Seisakusyo to manufacture
factory automation equipment and switchboards.
1963 Developed conveyor type frying equipment for instant noodle production lines.
1964 Established Fuji Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Shimao Sakurazawa inaugurated as president. Began to manufacture and sell instant noodle production lines and various types of conveyors. Invented two-wing fans for industrial use. Constructed Fujioka Factory.
1968 Relocated operations to the present location.
Developed new type of steam tunnel conveyor and cooling conveyor.
1970 Folding type cutting machine and distributor for instant noodles developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers.
1971 Model automated plant for instant noodles, composed of alkali liquid weighing tank, mixer, vari-kneader, high-speed dough sheet pressing rollers (480mm width), folding type cutting machine, distributor, frying equipment, and cooling conveyor completed and delivered from the above plant to domestic instant noodle manufacturers.
1972 Mass production line for bifun (rice noodles) and harusame (green bean noodles) developed and delivered to domestic food manufacturers.
1973 Cup type noodle loader line, composed of cup feeder, noodle feeding unit, soup powder & dried garnish feeder, lid feeder, lid sealer and cup removal unit developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturer.
1974 Automatic noodle cake feeder, which supplies noodle cakes into a wrapping machine automatically, developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers. 600mm width automatic rollers (dough sheet slack controlled automatically) completed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers.
1975 Developed automatic cutting machine for dried noodles.
1976 Invented “Self-roller”, automatic operator-less vertical type dough sheet pressing roller. Developed automatic sachet (dried garnish) feeder and cup feeder. Multi-pass (3-stage) steam tunnel conveyor completed and delivered to domestic instant noodle processing manufacturers.
1977 Non-fried soba (Japanese buckwheat noodle) type instant noodle processing equipment developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle processing manufacturers.
Hatsuo Sakurazawa inaugurated as president.
1979 Developed utility (sterilization drying) microwave conveyor.
1980 Completed continuous cup loader conveyor for cup type noodle production lines.
1982 Developed noodle forming device for randomized type noodle production lines.
1983 Introduced CAD/CAM system.
Developed 3-stage type barconveyor.
1985 Developed automatic folded noodle cake feeder, noodle transfer device and rotary dried garnish feeder.
1988 Developed free-flow conveyor and multi-lane heat sealer.
1993 Developed high-speed automatic sealing machine
1994 Rice cake chip aligning machine developed and delivered to domestic confectionary manufacturers.
1995 Received the “Prize for Contribution to the Food Industry, Postwar 50 Years” award from the Japan Food Journal.
1996 Exhibited “Labor & space saving” instant noodle processing line composed of Continuous mixer, vertical continuous pressing roller, basket-type multi-pass steam tunnel conveyor and multi-pass frying equipment at the International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition (FOOMA). Received an award as a contributing enterprise for promoting industry, from the Mayor of Takasaki.
1997 Accumulators developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers. Introduced laser-welding machine.
1998 ISO9001 certification granted.
1999 High speed drier developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers.
2002 Developed a high efficiency steamer and received the Nakagawa Takeo Award for Encouragement from Gunma Prefecture as “steaming device for noodles”. Delivered to foreign instant noodle manufacturers.
2003 Servo-motor drive laser processing machine introduced.
Makoto Sakurazawa inaugurated as president.
2007 Automatic product switching loader conveyor (dual purpose 3-product type) is developed and delivered to domestic instant noodle manufacturers.
2008 3-dimensional CAD, 3-dimensional 5-shaft lasers processor introduced.
